BACK IN ACTION – SORRY ABOUT THE SERVICE INTERRUPTION • A Tough Week & A Look Back At A Tough Workout
It's been a tough week. Traveling, meetings, preparing for a presentation at the Shape Up America Campaign Launch (which was this morning)...and to top it off, a server change that took the blog out of commission for days.
I'm sorry the blog and forum were down for so long. But our community isn't going anywhere. I've taken steps to keep the site more reliable, and if it ever happens again, hang tight and check for updates on the Twitter feed.
Last week I was in New Jersey to check on the manufacturing of the first shipments of the Levrone Formula, to make sure everything went down with the strictest of care.
Then, it was back to LA to help kick off the Shape Up America Campaign launch at Pershing Square Park that took place this morning. I'll have footage from the event up by tomorrow night.
I've been training hard but couldn't record my workouts. To capture the spirit of what I did, I'm posting a "Best Of Levrone Report," selection from Transformation #2 (Cutting.)
This was one of the most taxing workouts so far on LevroneReport.com. Blowing it out focused, a whole lotta burn, and NO TALK. Just like this week when the cameras were off.
Leg supersets – mere mortals need not apply. For warriors only. (That means you.) Give it a shot and let me know if you survive.
It's great to be back. Thanks for hanging in there. I'll try to put something up every night this week to make up for the absence.
Peace, Kevin

4 sets of superset rotations with 3 minutes rest between each rotation:
Leg Press: 975 lbs x 15 Reps.
Hack Squats: 415 lbs x 10 Reps.
Leg Extensions: 190 lbs x 10 Reps.

Children's Heart Foundation
Huge endurance you´ve developed.
Those 3 excercises are killers, even more if combined.
Do you train calves Kevin??, i know you never posted a vid where you do that but i guessed you trained them, i was just wondering.
Keep it up!
Awesome – Levrone Forumla, hope to be seeing it in Australia.
Hey, Kev. Welcome back. Good to have the blog and forum up and rolling again.
@pablo, I saw Kevin do some seated toe presses back in the archives. Sry, I don’t remember exactly where but it’s in there.
Brutal……..
Hey, where is this gym that nobody trains at???
I´m Brazilian…
The text is in portuguese.
Eu odeio futebol. rsrsrsrs
Valeu. (Isso é uma gÃria, assim com What´s up em inglês).
Kevin. Sick workout. I will be buying the Levrone Formula the moment it comes out!!! YEAH BUDDY!!
John
Heart, dedication, a desire to push through no matter what, and no nonsense…Thats what I’m talking about. I will be doing this on my next leg day + additional exercises. Peace.
killer superset! You go more than 90º in hack squat. I thought that was bad for the knees
+1 to pablo idea:
To post a vid of calve training
That was awesome, I’m hurting today after a similar superset circuit I did yesterday. I hate leg extentions with a passion, the burn is like no other!
Great to have you back Kevin and look forward to the upcoming footage from Pershing Square Park.
Psyched for the Levrone Formula too!
Good to have you back. I think we all understand that stuff like this can happen, so don’t feel obliged to do anything to make up for something you couldn’t have known/anticipated in the first place. We know your a busy guy and when Murphy’s law decided to show its ugly head, it’s always on the most unwanted moments… Hilarious really…Community is strong and the regulars, some of which I consider friends, through this minor setback, have found other ways to keep connected when the mainchannel is down…
Quick update for me wrt last week… Three cardioruns and it strikes me how relaxed/at ease I’m currently running and how good chronos roll along without any effort… Today back to the gym and we’ll see how strength has hold up after a week of absence (from the gym).
Good to see you back Kev! Lets see if this abscence can empower us to take it up a notch.
I remember that workout back in 2009 Kevin. It was pretty cool that you just didn´t say a word
Only focused training, that was a good motivation. But of course it is good that you talk in other videos so we can learn something^^
So we can expect one video every day this week?? Yeehaa, looking forward to it and i still hope you record some nice bnp presses and other shoulder exercises.
@all
Can somebody help me? My left chest muscle hurts since a week only when i try to workout chest or do pushups. I´ve never had this problem and i don´t really know what it is
I don´t workout chest at the moment because i don´t want to hurt myself. Did somebody have a similar problem?
I hope this is not the feeling that Kevin had before he tore his chest lol. I´m a little bit scared.
Btw. i did increase my bench weight about 45lb in 3 weeks. Maybe it was too quick?? (no juice involved ;P )
HARDCORE
@Spacemarine – 45 pounds in 3 weeks wo juice, nice. How many times did you work out your chest? I think you can work it more then once a week but I like to stick to compound&mass builders like bench press just once a week for recovery. Kev may be able to do more when going a fast route with muscle memory etc. but for me I don’t think it would be a good idea. Chances are you didn’t allow enough time for your chest to recover. In that case a little rest should do the trick. Is it like a deep cutting pain? I remember having worked out my quads very hard a long time ago and I can still feel a little deep cutting-like pain sometimes. It’s not bad and doesn’t get worse when I work out. I just push through it no problems. Also strained my back badly after bad form heavy deads once. Just layed off the deads for a long time and now I am back to them, monitoring my form ever better. I recommend letting your chest be for some time, then slowly working up to your old volume again. Wouldn’t want to tear anything. So much for increasing that bench! :S Then again, I am not a doctor nor a physician. GL w it!
Im off to the gym now to train legs, Im going to give this a go!

Here Levrone this is for you.
You said I wanna see what you guys got, This is how I bring it.
18 years old.
6 foot
215 pounds atm.
Thanks for inspiring me to do what I didn’t think was possible.
@Renato Rodrigues, I’m brazilian too!
Kevin, sorry this little portuguese moment, I was talking with my friend ’bout misconcepts in training we face in our country.
(and he said he admires you and follow your blog daily! me too, of course…). You’re an inspiration even overseas !!!
About the post, true warrior workout, and I’ll try this massacre at my gym !!!
Nice!!!
Remind me Milosh Sarcev style of training
once in 2 month train like this and this is Very HARDCORE
@Jack B –
nice;D
nice workout kevin, I`ll bet your legs was dead after that.
P.S the days were you dont put any videos up, you can post somthing inspireing, like a song or a tips:D
Not for the feint of heart – you can say that again! My legs will never be the same!
Kevin I’m glad you’re back!
Congratulations for training! I was hard to complete the weekend for you!
You’re our man!
crazy kevin, doing supersets for legs!!! i felt every rep you made… very intense indeed!!
Man I remember that workout!!!
I tried it months ago with you and started to really feel dizzy (to the point of passing out) so stopped. So yea, did not survive haha. Definitely for warriors only, good luck.
@ Spacemarine, if it hurts, don’t do it.
it may take another week or 2 to heal but it’s wise to wait. A serious injury can sideline you for FAR too long.
I had a month off training at the start of the year. Came back trying to lift too much and tweaked a tendon in my knee on extensions and strained a trapezius the following day. Gave me the shits. Had to have 2 weeks off legs and nearly 3 off back.
@FrankTesch –
E o Jiu-Jitsu complementa o meu treino.
@bastiaan and Carbine1AU
Thank you guys, i trained 2 times per week flat bench, butterfly and incline bench with high intensity. Probably too much weight and not enough rest.
I will recover now and start again carefully.
@Renato Rodrigues
Sou do EspÃrito Santo.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CvNbuLPcgIQ
O Dorian fala logo no inÃcio algo sobre “alocar todas as mulheres”, acho… E o otário que filma ri e diz:
Otário: “especialmente as cachorras”.
Dorian responde: “especialmente as cachorras, com bundas grandes e redondas”
Otário: (riu novamente)
Dorian: “…eu vou estar ocupado. haha”
Não se esqueça: “The iron NEVER lies to you”
Peace!
Hi Guys
Anyone know what’s in Kev’s “formula”??
Has anyone tried MASS-PLEX?
If so what did you think?
Thanks
LaptopDaVinci
Brutal kev!
