1. Jay will win simply because he has the back width and leg detail.
2. Phil will be a close second, but who knows -- he could win it.
3. Branch has the mass, his waist has improved a lot, but lacks separation and super hardness.
4. I’d put Dexter in third under normal circumstances but he’ll take 4th. This Olympia isn’t about conditioning it seems.
The rest of the top 10 is up in the air. Kai is a big let down. If he concentrated more on quality instead of eating like a pig and trying to weigh 300 pounds all the time he could win, but his priorities are all wrong. He was 284 pounds at the weigh in but doesn’t look as good as Flex Wheeler or Kevin looked at 235 pounds in 1992. Weight isn’t everything, you have to have quality!
I checked this morning at about 7 am with my mobile phone and only missed the first 8 or so individual routines. This coming morning I’m gonna be glued to my laptop for sure.
It’s gonna be very very close. I have a slight slight plus for Phil over Jay, although you know what they say. The defending champ has to be beaten fair and square. And a lot can and has happened at the Olympia stage in 24 hours, so it’s going to be very exiting. I must say that Branch, although I like Phil’s and Jay’s physiques more, really pulled it off again. The man deserves a top 3 spot at least.
Dexter is also in shape, but he’s outmuscled. Times have changed and his best is probably only worth 4th place right now.
So my take after the prejudging is:
- Jay
- Phil
- Branch
- Dexter
- Rockel
- Wolf
I’m rather surprised by the progress Wolf made since the New York pro. I totally wrote him off, but he really is the big surprise for me this edition of the Olympia.
*as i had hoped for greene will not be top 5. i dont know why but everytime i see that guy come out he has some weird thing about him and i dont know what it is but i just dont like anything about his physique or personality. he is huge but so is about 20 other people out there and thats all he seems to have
i like the fact jay is bringing down his waist. also, they noted last night that i never really thought about… branch comes in awesome condition but he is also starting to have the flow of a great champion. they used to refer to him as a mass monster but thats not really the case anymore. i mean he does have a huge amount of mass but it is all starting to flow together now which is awesome. my top was always branch from the start so i am hoping for him the win but i think he will still come in 2nd over phil heath as long as branch keeps the same condition he came in last night. if branch loses that film of water then he will be in even better condition tonight and i think it will be another shut out. they were nothing how jay and phil have 2 different physiques but i still think the way the judges have been going over the past few years they are going to go for the jay physique. they already tried to go for the slimline physique of dexter when he won but he couldnt hold onto that and bring it back to this show. so i think they are going to go ahead and move past that type of physique again. if that is the case i think this could possibly be the total end to that type of physique. if jay wins this show it will probably all be about the mass from here on in for years and years to come
it sounded like only about 10 people were in the whole audience… every time bob said lets give them a hand all i heard was him have to repeat himself every time because the audience sucked. for the biggest competition of the year you would think it would be going wild especially in vegas
Just checked the comparison pictures at flexonline and I have to say, although I’m a huge Jay-fan, Jay’s midsection this year is getting extremely wide from the front. Conditionwise he looks like he hit the mark again, but that wide midsection is a lil turndown. I like Heath’s conditioning and style… He just might bring it home this year. Kai is way off and he knew it already during the pressconference… The guy doesn’t make any sense either, so I don’t think he’ll ever be a good representative for the sport. Bob and just about everyone made a lil fun of him, which is good for about 1 minute, but it got a lil annoying after the third or fourth laugh at Kai’s expense. He brings it on himself a lil with the intellection nonsens he tries to spew out, but come on… He is a champ, so pay him some respect…
My take: Jay or Heath… Both will be good for me… Wolf did good to drop the gurus as well.. Since he’s a taller athlete, I like how he looks… As wide as a barn…
And an in-shape Kevin Levrone would dominate for sure… Time to get back up there, Champ
I don’t like personally Jay’s physique, but as You said Kev about year ago -- Olympia is for real big guys. Phil is a bit worse copy of You (to narrow), has beautifull lines but Jay is simply so massive.
May Phil win ..
Besides his awesome physique and conditioning atm Phil is a smart and nice guy, and an outstanding ambassador for the sport. Voted for him at bodybuilding.com and hope he wins.
Jay looks good, but he is not spot on like he was in 2009.
I’m also a fan of Dennis Wolf. He might just have the best proportions of all the guys …
1. Phil
2. Jay
3. Wolf
Kevin u at your peak.. would have won this show easy!
but thats just my honest opinion…
1.) Phil (he is the most complete. size, condition, u name it)
2.) Branch (He has the wow factor this year)
3.) Jay (the size is too much, condition of 09 was better..)
4.) Dex (very improved since last year)
As far as the show goes
1. Jay Cutler.. His width wins it for.. ohh and his legs! plus he’s in great shape
2/3 Branch and Phil too close to judge. I’d put Branch 2nd but they both look great
4. Dexter Jackson… outmuscled by Jay, Phil, and Branch but still a very well put together bodybuilder
5. Kai.. maybe??? Stomach is definitely too large to place any higher. I personally would put Greene behind Dennis Wolf AND Ronny Rockel for 7th
Kai is a huge dissapointment to me, really bloated…maybe he’ll lose water and rip up for tonight? For me it is between Jay and Phil. I feel Jay might edge him out in certain areas but Phil’s conditioning is ridiculous. Cant say I was that impressed with Branch Warren, I feel he’d be lucky with a third place -- a lot of mass but not particularly aesthetic -- only my opinion of course! But yeah I think (hope) it’ll be down to phil heath and jay, and either one deserves it. Interesting to see if and how different they’ll look tonight….
I predict that Jay will come in looking even better tonight. He seems to do that every year & if so that’ll be the only pics of 2010 Jay you’ll see. That should scare the other two cuz I don’t think Phil or Branch have any water to lose. And don’t get me wrong. jay is 99.5% of last year’s physique, I think there’s just about .5% better he can look in 24 hours and I’m sure he will.
Heath looks great, he’s just a little too narrow in the chest and while I think he’d still make a great Mr. O, it’s just not what Mr. O is about. Haney, Yates, Coleman……those genetic anomolies maxed out w/ mass & detail are what make Mr. O.
Dexter and Kai need to get rid of their guts!! Enough belly! Get rid of it already! (Dexter’s lookin’ a little more bloated than usual this year)
I’ve heard that Kai will compete a little lighter than usual and with a better waist, so he might place better than last year. I agree with you on Dexter.
i in no way believe kai should crack the top 5 …. in no order for sure the top 5 will be jay, phil, branch, dexter, and either rockel or wolfe. if anybody else makes it in top 5 then it will be a huge disappointment in bodybuilding for me because this is the best of the best and kai greene in no way will be the best of the best. even ronnie could suck his gut in further than that. he is all mass and has awesome bodypart separate… but when you put all those bodyparts on one body none of them flow together and i think i huge petition needs to be placed on the olympia to bring get some judges who arent stuck on 1 style of physique year after year.
a 99 levrone would destroy all competitors…..size,condition,symetry,posing,stage presence…..all these go to the MARYLAND MUSCLE MACHINE…..PHILLY POWERHOUSE BABY!!!!
Yes Kevin, for you it is a very special event to be at the Olympia!
I think this year could win Brench Warren or Phil Heath, but can win and Jay Cutler. In Jay’s excellent physical constitution, Brench with Phil can achieve excellent progress, because they have great potential for the development of muscle!
If one considers that last year, form of Phil Heath is not was reached but he was the fifth, then we can assume that if it reaches the form, then he may win!
Brench Warren in force! He wants to win. Last year he came second. Therefore, certainly this year, he tried very hard to gain the champion form!
It’s very interesting who will win!
Please note Kevin, Phil Heath Posing in a style that is similar to your style poses. For example, he makes the transition to a position chest from side, as you did. Phil makes your famous pose of Most muscles from side. Cool!
very close mr o i have seen in a long time.i think jay will take it out.second phil and third branch.personally i would love to see branch win.he has defenitly peeked for the show.just out of curiosity to all the levrone community what do you think kevin would have placed against the current 2010 mr o?
I thought Heath was EPIC tonight!! When they were doin the mandatory poses he stood out the most to me, I don’t think anyone came close to him…. apart from Cutler. Phil’s most muscular looks wicked when he’s shouting, just a mean powerfull monster!!
Oh well, I’m still very happy for Jay, I wonder if we’l see him next year?? How tired did weider look tonight though…
1- jay cutler
2-phil heat
3-branch warren
4-dexter jackson
5-dennis wolf
6-roni rockel
jay is a mass monster but not only big, hes a symetry big monster.
i agree with kevin , phil heat is in he best condition
what i call, the levrone frontal pose, not much competitors can do that pose, because it does not shine in many competitors.. i supposed that shine in phil because he has a good shoulders , just like kevin. What are the opinion of you guys?
Dammmmmmmmmn
Kai Greeeene = Disappointing!
I guess he’s just been working himself too too hard this year and tried his best to come in fuller than last years MR O. but i guess over did it a little.
Probs to Phil Health!!
and Congratz to Jay!!
Better luck next time Kai hopefully he’ll break the threshold!
In principle, any shocks has not occurred, the best athlete still Jay Cutler. Phil Heath showed excellent result! Brench Warren too. You see, if Phil in the good form, he can compete perfectly! And Jay in this year in great shape! But defeated Jay Cutler. Now, he cemented his title!
kevin levrone to make his come back for the mr o 2011?kevin when and where will you announce your long awaited come back.will the levrone community get the scope first or will you announce it at one of those press confrence at a ifbb show?
Do you remember the alternate bicepscurl Levrone vid when he was wearing a black suit?. I always thougth those arms were the best. Mass, cuts and genetics.
But watching a pre 2010 Olympia Phil Heath vid changed my mind. Phil told us he hasnt trained his arms for a month and usually he trained them for a month, then he let go. Well, sorry to say but the Levronearms looked infact real small compared to Phils arms watching from the side in a hammercurl machine. Man, sickest ive ever seen. Turns Kevins top level arms small and he doesnt even bother to train them seriously…..This is the most unfair sport.

Was anyone else dissappointed with the lame answers given in the interview?? Talk about NOT creating any excitement. Only one guy who took his shirt off seemed to have any fire.
Has the outcome been decided already and they know it, so aren’t enthusiastic?
I literally can’t stand to hear Kai and his royal “we” answers. He’s trying so hard to sound intelligent??? just answer the damn question…we aint got all day!!
Looking at the prejudging pics there was no outstanding back detail anywhere? Branch was shredded but I don’t like his proportions especially his arms in a most muscular.
I really believe Kev could come back and be a very serious threat on every level -- physically and mentally.
davinci if kevin does return to the pro stage he would have to come in better over all conditioning in size because if he comes in the way he looked in his last show 2004 mr o in my oppinion he would struggle to make the top six.these current top pros have very little weaknesses in there physics.if kevin gets his back and legs up to the current level that these pros are at his in with a shot.but the question still remains on the back of my mind can he have an impact on the olympia at the age of 45? would his body respond to the chemicals as the once did ten years ago?are those injuries he suffured in the past going to determine how hard he can push his body to get the physic he needs to winning the mr o?
I see that Kevin’s line “but I predict they will still give the show to Jay Cutler” very impudent and statement from “above”. Like Cutler didn’t deserved the title. Like there is someone better than him at the moment.
Congratulations to Jay Cutler! He is the best bodybuilder today. Mass, definition, condition, maturity. Everything is on his side.
Congratulations to Jay Cutler. Let me explain my comment. Phil Heath looked great, and in my opinion, he looked better, more pleasing to the eye. However, when you fight a champion you gotta have a TKO, Phil Heath did not slaughter Jay Cutler, it wasn’t a knock out. And Jay wasn’t 100% and Phil STILL didn’t knock him out. Standing behind Phil Heath, Jay was dominant, wider, bigger from the criteria that I know is in place. Overall mass, presence, wider – Jay deserved it. I’m not saying they gave it to him in an unfair way, they gave it to him because he fulfilled the criteria that matters to the judges – so big shout out to Jay for getting it done again.

…. yeah …. maturity ?? you mean the wide midsection ?
Milt … this guy is definitely muscular … but at the same time as a bodybuilder over the top. Same as Ronnie. Their midsections are so wide and so big … way OUT OF PROPORTION.
I’m a big Jay fan too, Milt, but quite francly… The midsection from the frontangle is getting extremely wide. He corrects this with huge and wide shoulders and back, but the christmas-tree from the likes of Phil H and Wolf is so much more impressive due to the tinier waist…. That’s my take… I love Jay’s physique, but from an aesthetical point of view the direction the Mr Olympia contest has chozen AGAIN this year, is not a road I’d like to see BB stray off into anymore… We were at a crossroads and all competitors came up with their best and it could have gone into another direction. Phil can take bodybuilding back to more (mass) aesthetically pleasing physiques, but sadly the judges choze otherwise. Even massmonsters like Branch chose to redefine their physiques to a more aesthetic physique. So it can be done, but the judges need to reward it, which they clearly don’t atm.
Kevin airs his opinion and indeed he probably rather would have seen Phil take it but don’t mistake an opinion for disrespect, as Kevin proved year after year, month after month what he is all about… Disrespecting people isn’t part of his person.
In the end, I feel bodybuilding as a sport missed the opportunity to take on another direction. What’s the message now to these athletes when they brought their best package to the table and mass (with some aesthetics) won once again? Wouldn’t want to be in PHil’s shoes atm… Dissappointing…
Congrats to Jay to bring it home, once again… Bodybuilding got a great ambassador again…
Personally I think Jay deserved to win, although Phil would have been fine by me. They both are phenomenal BB’ers in their own right, with a lot of plusses and a few weak points.
I’m very curious as to what Jay is gonna do, is he going to retire at the peak or is he going for another year where he probably will be dethroned by a even better Phil Heath?
Am I crazy but wasn’t bodybuilding.com suppose to pose live video of last nite Olympia ? They did Friday nite.. I am in NYC, saw nothing …very frustrating ..I don’t think it was my computer …
wasnt ur comp bro, i had the same prob n it was 4 am here. i emailed them n the messaged me streight back with an apology which was nice of them. dint make up for loss of sleep tho lol
@Gert -- You can’t have midsection like Segio Oliva yet being 280lbs shredded. It’s the modern bodybuilding. And I have nothing against it. For me, Cutler’s abs look like he is running 100m olympics.
Props to all competitors, but Jay was the best last night.

Props to all competitors, but Jay was the best last night.Jay won ….. so you’re right and I’m wrong. But fact is ….. I’d rather see the more athletic physiques like Ronnie’s in the late 90′s. And that’s why I like Wolf’s physique right now. All a matter of taste I guess ….
I have no problem with Jay winning but I would have given it to Phil, I prefer his slimmer midsection and overall symmetry.
Wolf did well for 5th his lat spread is so poor. Rear double biceps shows monster delt/arms but his width tapers rapidly to nothing.
I really like Tony Freeman’s proportion/symmetry. I agree that all the guys on stage were in great condition.
I can’t wait to hear Kai’s incredibly long and incomprehensible afterthoughts about the placing he recieved
DaVinci out
ps I may paint Phil Heath any votes for his best pose??
i predicted top 3 in that order. the sock of the day for me was kai greene wasnt expecting that but he didnt seem so confident in the press conference. Gutted for victor martinez, was kinda hopin for a higher placement for him, my personal favorite as a bodybuilder.
Next year i think jay will move aside for phil as hes improving every apperance n jays guna finally hit that plateau. Weldone jay, ur a fine OLYMPIAN!!!
You won’t find Heath doing text book form 80 lbs bicep curls then 100lbs, heath looks great but I’m not a fan of his training heavy half movements levrone trained full range of motion and looked just as great in his day. Think Phil will retire like Ronnie due to a GH gut. Too hard to early.

@Norweigian -
on the bb.com webcast if you looked at the side twitter someone posted an active link to the show when the bb.com one was down. they posted it about 3/4 of the way through the 202 class which i didnt really care about anyways so i got to still see the big boys compete. i dont know why everybody is so concerned about jays waist. being that big for anybody it has to keep a smaller waist. it seemed from the front double biceps shot that he could atleast keep his stomach in and phil heath had his bloated out in the middle even though it wasnt as wide from left to right. jays shoulder and back width is what took the focus off his waist. i think if jay can keep that size and come in a little tighter that he will win every time he shows up no matter who it is against. phil was at his all time best and i cant see how he could get any better with the genetics he has. if phil placed 2nd being that great and jay was off then there would be no hope for anybody to take that #1 spot from jay. if jay can match this year or come in tighter i think he will be phil everytime… unless they rotate a lot of the judges. i was still hoping branch for a 2nd place i just like him better than phil. very glad kai didnt place good i dont know why i just cant stand that guy. every time he speaks he just makes me want to turn it off and go to sleep then he shows up with that huge gut and proves he will never be a #1 at the O.
I understand what you’re saying, Kevin, but….Jay’s Midsection is almost as wide if not wider than his lats in the “Abdominal and Thigh” pose! Sad! Seems to me the only quality Jay has is SIZE!!! LOL…that’s it, brother!
Kai was badly missplaced! Rockel over Kai? Wolfe over Kai? Give me a break!
Remember when Ronnie was placing way back there in the nineties, Kevin….yah you remember, haha! You know what happened in the years after and how Ronnie dominated! Well, I see the potential for much the same thing happening with Phil Heath! Take a good look at him in repose….he’s almost a mini Ronnie, with those bellies just hanging off all over the place! Phil is going to be a Mr. Olympia some day soon! He’s a caricature(?)!
I was actually at the Olympia, guys. I sat in section 104, row N, seat 7 in the Orleans. In other words, the nose bleed section. It was an awesome show and I believe what you see on the video is much more detailed than what I saw. the lights are bright and hot on those guys on stage. Note jay wiping the sweat and I don’t imagine Joe had a good time trying to stand there even if “The Hulk” assisted him.
Lemme tell all of you that weren’t there. Jay looked flat in the chest but he was absolutely the biggest man up there as far as shear muscularity and width. Phil gave Jay one hell of a run and he was MASSIVE, guys. He has really brought up the size in his arms. He is my favorite and not just for this year but I hope he takes it next year. I feel he deserves it.
Kai….was Kai. I mean outragious, different, BIG and graceful. What else can you say about the guy. I like Kai for his feelings and heart. His legs were ripped but his upper body was a little softer than he needed for a win. Especially his back which seemed to be the clincher this year. If you don’t have an awesome back that’s absolutely ripped and shredded, forget the Sandow.
Branch was huge, of course. I really like Branch and I hope he brings home the title at least once in his life but guys, he just wasn’t as big as Jay and he lacked the detail.
Jay came in shape, guys. Even though he said he was dehydrated, like Kevin said, you fight not just the man but the title too.
I think it was close between a lot of the guys but like I said, Phil made the most improvement in size and I wish him well in the future. I also congratulate Jay and a big shout to all the guys that stood on that stage.
Good luck in your future, Dennis “the Menace”. Godspeed, man. Heart felt speech and we got your back.
Imagine guys, the feeling of being a pro status bodybuilder and the sacrafices they make.
Much respect to all of them and the ladies that went onstage for the figure finals while half the place emptied out. To the ladies, my apologies. That must have been dis-heartening to see all those folks get up and walk out.
This was my first experience at that show and if I had a suggestion….make the seats more comfortable and give us an intermission at least. Don’t make the ladie’s figure the break in the action. They deserve the same attention as the Mr. O. They’ve earned it.
Peace
Hey Rick thx for that nfo…great to get a perspective from someone who was actually there. I too heard bout folks walking out during figure finals…they too have worked very hard to get on that stage as well.

That seems much more rational. Thank you for explanation of your thoughts.
Phil Heath is very well built, very beautiful and big muscles! But Jay Cutler is broader and big. Dorsi of Jay Cutler and his chest is noticeably wider. Plus, Cutler shown remarkable progress this year. Just look at his upper back, it became thicker and very traced! Very relief of muscles in general! And of course he is very big. Just Giant.
Phil Heath also showed good progress this year! He became noticeably more in the muscle while maintaining very good aesthetics. But Cutler was better.
Brench Warren as a whole maintained its last year’s form. But this year, the muscles of his press is not such relief like last year. And Cutler with Heath showed excellent progress. Therefore, Warren was in third place.
Dexter Jackson should really try hard to ever regain the title. But I think for him it will be very difficult, because a lot of competition!
Dennis Wolf -- fifth place, unexpected, but predictable. He can and more.
Ronnie Rokel a good athlete. But he needs to improve his posing and posturing.
It was a very good competition! Great contest of Mr. Olympia!
On Olympia, all cool! This can be seen. But there lacking you Kevin, because no one currently does not compete so good like you did. When you competed, it was great!
Phil had the best look in my opinion but check out this picture of Levrone in the nineties, I believe its the ’97 or ’96 Olympia.
http://img257.imageshack.us/i/86903347ww5.jpg/
It is Levrone side by side Heath doing a variation of most musular. Kevin looks freakier and blows him away. FULL BLOWN FOREVER! Love the nineties!! best era ever!
That’s just about what I’m talking about! Kevin and now looks great in comparison with the new leaders!!!
Because in the nineties bodybuilders on Olympia have achieved great progress in the development of muscles! This progress is valid today!
To be honest I was never a fan of Kai Green so im a little glad he dident do that good. Maybe im a simpilton but whats up with all the philosophizing and menter protégé bs ?? Just train and bust your ass for christ sake!! Keep it simple!
I was hoping for Phil, but again the O is all about mass I guess.
That picture of Kevin is unbelievable. What a beast! I can see why Phil uses some of Kevin’s signature poses on stage. They both are sort of similar in body structure except I think Kevin was wider and like you said Vic Rich that Kevin looked and gave that impression of pure freakiness but with aesthetics to boot. Hey Vic Rich are you the real Victor Richards or is that just by coincidence? Anyways Kevin we miss you on stage. You had awesome presence. Maryland Muscle Machine!
1. Phill
2. Dexter
3. Jay
4. Warren
5. Ronnie
6. Victor
Wolf looked much better than last year but not for the fifth place.
Jay didn’t look so tragic as in 2007 and 2008, but looking his symetry -- he was worse even than Branch and Wolf. And ond more thing -- no one noticed Victor looked quite good and deserved top six.
No Victor in the top six….I don’t understand that one either!
Its ALL about MASS now ( has been for a while ). Symmetry, lines, shape, class are gone!
When Labrada retired he was quoted saying “Farewell to the King. Symmetry is dead. Hail to the new king — Long live Mass! This is the trend”
He saw the future and simply could not compete with that! Dorian had already won 2 or 3 Mr.Olympias at that time! Dorian and Jay are the two most unappealing Mr.Olympias to date!
I thought that maybe when Dexter won, there was hope for a reasurgence of classical lines and quality! Short lived that was..lol.
i couldnt agree more,no really deep cuts anymore,Jays back just looks soft to me.as long as you are huge it seems bein really ripped and cut doesnt sway the judges.its a shame cos when you look back at the older champions i have to say i prefer and am more impressed by that physique.
I think if someone DID get on stage next to these guys who was big but also ripped and shredded the judges could not ignore it.Lets hope its Kevin.

I don`t think so. Top 5 is real, but I don`t believe in #1. Kevin`s back is first reason, legs is second.
i personly think the judges got it right.i still think jay deserved to win.branch, condition was awsome ripped and big for a guy his hieght.phil at 240 looked much bigger.his time will come.phil reminds me of a cross between flex with those muscle bellies and kevin with his size and detail.i know that alot of people would disagree with my comments but body building is a subjective sport and thats how the sport is now and thats how its been in the past.there will always be contraversy in this sport.just ask kevin ,nasser ,flex,if they deserved to be mr olympia and you know what answer youll get.cant wait to next year as i will be attending the mr o and you never know your luck in a big city i might just witness the greatest come back in the history of body building.cheers
jay didnt deserve it yet again. i had branch winning if im honest, phil has a really poor structure and he just looks hideous n some poses (but looks awesome in others) jay was far too soft from behind and he lacks any vascularity and separation. branch was on it, rock solid, huge, ripped, his legs are better than jays in my opinion, he’s been robbed 2 years in a row now. the IFBB judges are just blind i think
ukstef i personally wouldnt have an issue with branch winning the mr o.his condition was awsome, but jay still looked good.his width and size was still prevalant when the were doing the comparison poses in the pre judging.like i said bro its a subjective sport.
Awesome vid. Thanks UKStu for posting it. Just came off working an overnight shift and was feeling too tired to go train in the gym this morning. Just watched this video of Kevin, Ronnie and Flex doing their thing and it got me super motivated. Love those guys-super chill bros. I’m going to the gym right now!
Kevin time for you to go Full Blown and dust off the posing trunks mate. Your the peoples champ! TLR in the house! Now off to the gym I go!

I think Kev or Shawn would do very well….can you imagine the interest in a comeback like that? I’d cry, man!
She even learned a wide variety of pieces, most notably how it is like to have an amazing coaching nature to have most people really easily gain knowledge of several complex subject areas.
Big wide span back, huge lats is a classic look. I think less flared backs, soft ones too, take away immensely from the symmetry between the front and back.

Kev what about Kai?
I was predicting…
1. Greene
2. Cutler
3. Heath
4. Warren
My top 3:
- Warren
- Cutler
- Heath
Oh, and for those who want to see it live at home
http://webcast.bodybuilding.com/fitshow/2010olympia/
Starts at 19:45 Las Vegas time. The Mr Olympia coverage starts a few hours later. In europe that means very early in the morning.
Phil Heath ftw baby!!!
1.Heath
2.Jay
3.Branch
I’d put Branch 2nd but they would never put Jay back at 3rd. Phil is amazing, deserves it. He’s growing fast!
I just seen Kai’s prejudging. He has lost control of his gut. When he was asked for abdominal side hardly anyone clapped and cheered…
1. cutler
2. warren
3. heath
4. dex jackson
5. rockel
*as i had hoped for greene will not be top 5. i dont know why but everytime i see that guy come out he has some weird thing about him and i dont know what it is but i just dont like anything about his physique or personality. he is huge but so is about 20 other people out there and thats all he seems to have
i like the fact jay is bringing down his waist. also, they noted last night that i never really thought about… branch comes in awesome condition but he is also starting to have the flow of a great champion. they used to refer to him as a mass monster but thats not really the case anymore. i mean he does have a huge amount of mass but it is all starting to flow together now which is awesome. my top was always branch from the start so i am hoping for him the win but i think he will still come in 2nd over phil heath as long as branch keeps the same condition he came in last night. if branch loses that film of water then he will be in even better condition tonight and i think it will be another shut out. they were nothing how jay and phil have 2 different physiques but i still think the way the judges have been going over the past few years they are going to go for the jay physique. they already tried to go for the slimline physique of dexter when he won but he couldnt hold onto that and bring it back to this show. so i think they are going to go ahead and move past that type of physique again. if that is the case i think this could possibly be the total end to that type of physique. if jay wins this show it will probably all be about the mass from here on in for years and years to come
1. heath
2. warren
3. cutler
4. jackson
it sounded like only about 10 people were in the whole audience… every time bob said lets give them a hand all i heard was him have to repeat himself every time because the audience sucked. for the biggest competition of the year you would think it would be going wild especially in vegas
Wow smart predictions
here’s my list:
jay
Phil
Branch
kai
Dexter

Hope Phil win!!!
Krisha´s list:
1.kai
2.jay
3.Phil
4.Dexter
Jay
Phil
Branch
Dex
Kai
Wolf
1.Heath
2.Branch
3.Cutler
4.Dexter
5.Rockel
6.Wolf

Here you go:
http://contests.flexonline.com/contests/2010/olympia/
You can also check it at musculardevelopment.com
1. Jay
2. Phil
3. Branch
1. Phil
2. Jay
3. Wolf
1.) Branch
2.) Jay
3.) Heath

I wanna see:
1st Heath
2nd Cutler
3rd Warren
4th Rockel
5th Jackson
6th Wolf
but I think Cutler and Jackson will get the Mr. O bonus and go for 1st and 4th
1. Phil Heath
2. Jay Cutler
3. Branch Warren
4. Dexter Jackson
5. Kai Greene
This is what i think the Top 3 should be:
Jay
Kai
Phill
…but it would probably be more like this:
Jay
Phill Heath
Branch
Dexter
Kai
Victor
1. Jay
2. Branch
3. Phil
4. Kai
5. Wolf
6. Dexter
What happened to the Victor Martinez of old?
Sorry, it’s too early here, and hadn’t realised they have gone already through prejudging:D
@Ron -- You really just said Branch lacks hardness?
i in no way believe kai should crack the top 5 …. in no order for sure the top 5 will be jay, phil, branch, dexter, and either rockel or wolfe. if anybody else makes it in top 5 then it will be a huge disappointment in bodybuilding for me because this is the best of the best and kai greene in no way will be the best of the best. even ronnie could suck his gut in further than that. he is all mass and has awesome bodypart separate… but when you put all those bodyparts on one body none of them flow together and i think i huge petition needs to be placed on the olympia to bring get some judges who arent stuck on 1 style of physique year after year.
a 99 levrone would destroy all competitors…..size,condition,symetry,posing,stage presence…..all these go to the MARYLAND MUSCLE MACHINE…..PHILLY POWERHOUSE BABY!!!!
Heath, cutler, warren or Jackson third Greene fourth or fifth!
Please note Kevin, Phil Heath Posing in a style that is similar to your style poses. For example, he makes the transition to a position chest from side, as you did. Phil makes your famous pose of Most muscles from side. Cool!
@ptkmatthews --
oh please, kais condition is not nearly good enough.
1. Heath
2. Cutler
3. Warren
bb.com is down if you guys are missing it here is a 2nd link http://web28.streamhoster.com/dptek/bodyb.html
Brench Warren this year not with such good relief of abdomen like last year! But everything else is very good!
Guys! The most recent photos and video from the Olympia 2010 is on the page of Kevin Levrone in Face Book!!
http://www.facebook.com/kevinlevronee?ref=sgm
very close mr o i have seen in a long time.i think jay will take it out.second phil and third branch.personally i would love to see branch win.he has defenitly peeked for the show.just out of curiosity to all the levrone community what do you think kevin would have placed against the current 2010 mr o?
Phil Heath reminds me a lot of Kevin, including getting shafted into second..
Only two guys were really exciting to watch.. Like take your breath away David Henry and Phil Heath.
Agree….@Jon -
Kevin could win!! He can dial his best form! Kevin could give a good fight all these guys from the Olympia this year!
I’m a bit disappointed, in my opinion Phil Heath should have won!
1- jay cutler
2-phil heat
3-branch warren
4-dexter jackson
5-dennis wolf
6-roni rockel
jay is a mass monster but not only big, hes a symetry big monster.
i agree with kevin , phil heat is in he best condition
Congrats to Jay Cutler and good luck against the Packers
Jay Cutler in stunning form this year!!! Mr. Olympia 2010 !
phil remember me to kevin when he pose, and more when he pose the.. i like to call ”the levrone frontal pose”.
Dexter Jackson great conditioning. Better than last year for sure. Should have been 3rd.
what i call, the levrone frontal pose, not much competitors can do that pose, because it does not shine in many competitors.. i supposed that shine in phil because he has a good shoulders , just like kevin.
I love this game of prediction.
I think :
1 Phil Heat
2 Jay Cutler
3 Kai Greene
4 Branch Warren
Levrone arms vs Heath arms
So I was right and what is Your prize Kev for it?

@Norweigian -- Heath has incredible forearms, no one can compare with him. But with biceps/triceps i don`t agree, R. Coleman had best guns in history.
Ronny Rockel only 6th -- nooo
but im glad dennis wolf came back in very good condition
anyways, 5 and 6 for germany!!
Hi Guys
Phil Heath would also be a decent armwrestler with those forearms..
Kevin, you have to kick the fridge´s ass next time. No joke

…. yeah …. maturity ?? you mean the wide midsection ?
Milt … this guy is definitely muscular … but at the same time as a bodybuilder over the top. Same as Ronnie. Their midsections are so wide and so big … way OUT OF PROPORTION.
I was predicting
Cutler
Heath
Greene
Here’s the link where you can see all the replays (pre judging, final, etc..)
http://www.bodybuilding.com/fun/2010-olympia-webcast-replays.htm
Kevin give it one more shot! You can do it!
Originally Posted By Milt@Gert -- You can’t have midsection like Segio Oliva yet being 280lbs shredded. It’s the modern bodybuilding. And I have nothing against it. For me, Cutler’s abs look like he is running 100m olympics.
Hi
I have no problem with Jay winning but I would have given it to Phil, I prefer his slimmer midsection and overall symmetry.
Wolf did well for 5th his lat spread is so poor. Rear double biceps shows monster delt/arms but his width tapers rapidly to nothing.
I really like Tony Freeman’s proportion/symmetry. I agree that all the guys on stage were in great condition.
I can’t wait to hear Kai’s incredibly long and incomprehensible afterthoughts about the placing he recieved
DaVinci out
ps I may paint Phil Heath any votes for his best pose??
ost muscular of course
*most
i predicted top 3 in that order. the sock of the day for me was kai greene wasnt expecting that but he didnt seem so confident in the press conference.
@Norweigian -

@Norweigian -
phil does not have nor will he have a gh gut
on the bb.com webcast if you looked at the side twitter someone posted an active link to the show when the bb.com one was down. they posted it about 3/4 of the way through the 202 class which i didnt really care about anyways so i got to still see the big boys compete. i dont know why everybody is so concerned about jays waist. being that big for anybody it has to keep a smaller waist. it seemed from the front double biceps shot that he could atleast keep his stomach in and phil heath had his bloated out in the middle even though it wasnt as wide from left to right. jays shoulder and back width is what took the focus off his waist. i think if jay can keep that size and come in a little tighter that he will win every time he shows up no matter who it is against. phil was at his all time best and i cant see how he could get any better with the genetics he has. if phil placed 2nd being that great and jay was off then there would be no hope for anybody to take that #1 spot from jay. if jay can match this year or come in tighter i think he will be phil everytime… unless they rotate a lot of the judges. i was still hoping branch for a 2nd place i just like him better than phil. very glad kai didnt place good i dont know why i just cant stand that guy. every time he speaks he just makes me want to turn it off and go to sleep then he shows up with that huge gut and proves he will never be a #1 at the O.
Robin !_!
.
Robin !_!
.
Phil has the most potential of anyone on that stage tonight….well, he and Kai!
Robin !_!
.
Thats whats up JAY!!! GOOD SHOW…. Anybody know if Ronnie competed? I couldn’t find out if he did.
Hard to believe folks would walk out on the chance to view beautiful and in shape females… I know I wouldn’t…

It is Levrone side by side Heath doing a variation of most musular. Kevin looks freakier and blows him away. FULL BLOWN FOREVER! Love the nineties!! best era ever!
Vic Rich
That’s just about what I’m talking about!
Kevin and now looks great in comparison with the new leaders!!!
Because in the nineties bodybuilders on Olympia have achieved great progress in the development of muscles! This progress is valid today!
Our path this is bodybuilding! Competition this is a great case!
You’re right, Kai was misplaced. I’m a Kia fan and he was off against so many who nailed it. He really should not have made the top 10. He @Robin -
To be honest I was never a fan of Kai Green so im a little glad he dident do that good. Maybe im a simpilton but whats up with all the philosophizing and menter protégé bs ?? Just train and bust your ass for christ sake!! Keep it simple!
I was hoping for Phil, but again the O is all about mass I guess.
I completely agree with your judgement. Cutler is only big block of muscles with no shape. It’s a shame he has won the title four times.
@Vic Rich --
That picture of Kevin is unbelievable.
Tarvi,you’re right.
1. Phill
2. Dexter
3. Jay
4. Warren
5. Ronnie
6. Victor
Wolf looked much better than last year but not for the fifth place.
Jay didn’t look so tragic as in 2007 and 2008, but looking his symetry -- he was worse even than Branch and Wolf. And ond more thing -- no one noticed Victor looked quite good and deserved top six.
Good show, but check this vid out to see how it should be done, not my work but great viewing, shame there’s no Shawn Ray in it.
I just want to say it was.great meeting you in vegas thanks for taking some pics with my wife and I
No Victor in the top six….I don’t understand that one either!
Robin !_!
.
phil imitated the kevin moves. completely.
@Robin
i couldnt agree more,no really deep cuts anymore,Jays back just looks soft to me.as long as you are huge it seems bein really ripped and cut doesnt sway the judges.its a shame cos when you look back at the older champions i have to say i prefer and am more impressed by that physique.
I think if someone DID get on stage next to these guys who was big but also ripped and shredded the judges could not ignore it.Lets hope its Kevin.
next year:
1/ Levrone
2/ Phill
etc…

@UKStu --
Awesome vid.
Ukstef
legs do not win a competition.
a full body wins a competition.
and for me, her legs are bigger than his chest.
jay cutler has it all.

I think Kev or Shawn would do very well….can you imagine the interest in a comeback like that? I’d cry, man!
Talk about something this sport needs!

That is definitely extremely excellent details. I may apply soon. And My spouse and I desire my family will certainly be satisfied with the outcomes.
